The Director of Nursing (DON) position is ideal for a seasoned RN with 3–5 years of experience in ambulatory surgery, a passion for leadership, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. As the DON, you’ll play a critical role in driving the mission, values, and goals of our ASC. You’ll oversee clinical operations, lead policy creation and revision, coordinate committee meetings, and serve as the point of contact for reporting and resolving critical issues.
Working closely with the Administrator, Medical Director, and Governing Bodies, you’ll lead a tenured and supportive staff dedicated to providing top-notch, patient-centered care. Best of all, this role offers nights and weekends off, so you can maintain a healthy work-life balance while enjoying everything Port Charlotte has to offer.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate and uphold the ASC’s mission, values, and goals with all staff.
Empower and oversee clinical staff to provide exceptional care.
Coordinate and lead committee meetings to meet quarterly and yearly requirements.
Manage the creation, review, and revision of all policies and procedures.
Serve as the primary liaison for addressing and reporting adverse events, patient or staff complaints, infections, and compliance concerns.
What You’ll Gain
Competitive Salary: $84,000–$87,000 annually.
