Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician

Salary: $270/hour + sign-on bonus and relocation allowance
Requirements to Apply:
Board Certification/Eligibility – Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or, in some cases, Family Medicine with significant emergency department experience.
Licensure / Certifications – Must have a valid Colorado medical license (or eligibility to obtain one.
Emergency Department Experience – Strong background in high-acuity, emergency settings with the ability to manage a wide range of acute conditions and perform emergency procedures efficiently.
Job Overview:
This Emergency Medicine opportunity offers a dynamic and well-supported clinical environment within a team of board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians. Physicians work 10- to 11-hour shifts, averaging 11–14 shifts per month, with three coverage options: Day (7 AM – 6 PM), Night (8 PM – 7 AM), and Midshift (12 PM – 10 PM, double coverage). The facility holds a state-acclaimed Trauma Level IV designation, with rapid transport to a Level II trauma center as needed. Serving a primarily agricultural and geriatric population, the ED sees an average of 1,200 patients per month. Physicians benefit from excellent hospital-based ancillary support, 24/7 hospitalist coverage, and established specialty call arrangements, including general surgery and anesthesia. The hospital offers on-site lab and radiology services with quick turnaround times and utilizes Meditech 6.08 with MModal electronic dictation for efficient documentation. Additionally, Quality Health Network (QHN) integration provides seamless access to patient data across regional facilities.
